1974 erschien mit Goodnight Vienna Ringos einziges Quadrophonic-Album als 8-Track-Cartridge in den USA (Apple Q8W-3417). Die Quadrophonie konnte sich jedoch nicht durchsetzen. Statt dessen findet man heute SACD und DVD-Audio in 5.1, die aber auch nicht erfolgreich sind. Quadrophonie-CDs wurden niemals veröffentlicht. So ist dieses Bootleg-Album also auch nicht in Quadrophonie, sondern nur ein "2 Channel Stereo Mix from the direct discrete 4 channel tape". | ||
